Westrom I thought was a pretty great company very nice and took care of everything on a timely manner. The reason for my 1 star is because when we moved out they gave our deposit that we gave to Westrom group and signed a contract with Westrom group to the landlord for them to give to us. Since the landlord did not want to use them anymore and decided to sell there house. That is not ethical or fair. I signed a contract and sent the money to Westrom group I should receive it from them. Now I have the landlord deducting maintenance that I received while with Westrom and they are charging me for damages that are non existent I have a video of how the property was left. And just other ridiculous charges that should not be on me. I have tried to reach out they are pretty much like oh well sucks to be you…. I have rented from another company that the landlord decided to sell so I know how this should go. When we moved out from that house the company we signed a contract with still inspected the house and gave us our deposit directly not handed it off to the landlord. Westrom did and this in my opinion makes Westrom group not a good company with good ethics and morality…. Now the little guy gets screwed and they just throw their hands up and say oh well. Well let the landlord take advantage of you and take your deposit to renovate their house so they can get more money for it on the sell. Because that is exactly what happened they renovated some things in the house to get more profit using our deposit… and charging us almost our entire deposit for nonexistent repairs and things that we should not be responsible for.
UPDATE: Westrom owner reached out and guided us the right way to get this taken care of and took the time to explain what happened and he remedied what he could. Westrom Group Property Management  was absolutely fantastic.  We have never had to fill out a application for realtor, so parts we confusing with all the help from Westrom Group we got it done and now we have our new home to move to.  They were very patient with us.  So, I would suggest that if you our looking to move  give them a call.  My husband and I are senior citizens and if it wasn't for their time and patience we would properly still  be looking for a nice home  in a good area.
